IIT Bombay - Techfest 2011. 3 days to go and I can only begin to imagine the mayhem at the campus right now. The madness at our office too has assumed fever pitch in preparation for Techfest. More on that soon..

The IIT guys have pulled out quite a few stops on the robotic competition happening at Techfest this year, one of them is the age old battle of the fastest line follower. This one always pushes the limit of line following and an excellent way to begin building your bot for the 1st and 2nd year engineers.

And we plan to gatecrash Looprush...!!! :D

The 1st post this new year, we have turned the first decade of this millennium - Humans v/s Robots, we shall advise you to take sides quickly!! When we are my grandpa's age, we shall be seeing some pretty weird stuff on the streets for sure. Coming back to this post - 3V Coreless motor, 12000 freaking RPM, negligible torque. How the hell do you use this motor?

Our Freebie Hours is back!! Dates are pegged a week after the IIT Bombay Techfest 2011. A handful will remember our first attempt at the Freebie Hours on January 2010. It was a huge learning (and fun) experience.

For the uninitiated, the Freebie Hours is a concept where on a randomly chosen auspicious day we give away freestuff worth Rs 500. No strings attached. If you include a robotic kit in your order, the cash giveaway goes upto Rs 750.
