5 DOF Robotic ARM

The Robosoft Systems robotic arm has five degrees of freedom. delivers fast, accurate, and repeatable movement. The robot features; base rotation, shoulder, elbow, wrist motion, wrist rotate, and a functional gripper. The Robosoft Systems robotic arm is an affordable plug and play system with a time tested rock solid design. The Robotic Arm comes fully assembled with RSS (Robotic Sequencer Software) Windows program and the 16 channel servo controller.

The Mechanical Assembly

The Robotic Arm is made from high-quality laser-cut Aluminum structural components, black anodized aluminum servo brackets, and custom injection molded components. The arm includes seven Tower Pro MG995 Servos with a stall torque of 11 kg/cm at 6V .

Controlling the Arm

RSS (Robotic Sequencer Software) is a Windows program for controlling the Robotic Arm with our 16 channel servo controller. With RSS, your robot can be taught sequences of motion via the mouse or joystick. The direct kinematics and inverse kinematics engine makes positioning the arm effortless. The servo sequencer board can also be used by the student to develop there own stand alone programs using Embedded C.
